John Rommel Profile
John Rommel joined The Petraborg Law Firm as a workers' compensation defense attorney in November 2017. His focus is the protection of the rights of employers and insurers in workers' compensation cases.
Previously, John was employed at MetLife where his focus was auto litigation. There he served as a subject matter expert of Michigan's No-Fault Act handling hundreds of personal injury protection cases. John also handled an array of other duties including the investigation and resolving of complex litigated claims requiring coverage and liability decisions involving first and third party insurance issues in various jurisdictions across the midwest, eastern, and southern states. John was recognized multiple times for his achievements including the receipt of the distinguished Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
John obtained his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 2012. He graduated from the University of Missouri's top-rated journalism school in 2004. John is admitted to the Missouri bar.
Most of his life has been spent in Missouri. John is proud to call St. Louis home. He enjoys church on Sundays and also prioritizes time with his family including three young nieces and a nephew.
